a Black Friday Fun(d)raiser for the Community Action Center in Northfield.

Some friends and I will be offering a Tiny Basket Weaving workshop from 2-4pm on Black Friday, both as an opportunity to connect with each other and learn a fun creative skill, and also to help our neighbors.

This gathering is generously hosted by the Cannon Valley Maker’s Space at 300 Railway Street N in Dundas.

It will be followed by two optional basket making skill building meetups 12:30-1pm on December 6 and 13.

All proceeds go directly to the Community Action Center, which is an incredible organization that hosts our local food bank and does a lot on the ground to care for the sick and the elderly and the poor, helping the unhoused and the hungry. Click here for more details and to save your spot.
