Dear friend,

In the woods here in southern Minnesota, new sprouts and tender buds of elder and hepatica, waterleaf and anemone are pushing through the tangle of the past, through fallen dead things, drawn steadily to the sunlight.

There has been so much noise in the outer world, but through it all I sense something deeper that my soul has been showing me, just like the spring ephemerals, pushing through the fallen dead things, showing up in what is emergent and ready to be born.

In this spirit, I’m releasing a brand new music album, “stop, drop and feel”.

This collection of songs is really feeling good in my body right now. I’m really excited about sharing it with you. It’s my hope that it creates a sacred space for you to feel held in joy and peace, as we do the sacred work of rebuilding and planting the seeds of what we wish to see in the next phase of our turn on Planet Earth.

My goal is to launch this album by Earth Day. Those on my Patreon have been getting sneak peeks all along, and some of the singles have already been released on Insight Timer and elsewhere. Still, there are brand new recordings that I haven’t made public even to my patrons yet . . . but will soon. Here is a trailer that includes excerpts of all 10 songs (yes, a couple weeks ago it was 8 songs, but a couple new ones sprouted up . . . )

Where to get this album

You can now pre-order a CD or digital album on Bandcamp here.

And, like anyone else I appreciate being able to listen to others’ music without a paywall. Therefore, I want to make my music available to whoever wants it.

And because I also think it’s fair for musicians to be paid, I will no longer put my music on platforms that don’t pay anything (or worse, fund war machines).

So as of this Earth Day (April 22), this album will be available to stream to for free on Insight Timer. Follow me to be alerted to when it’s available.

I aim to make the music that speaks to your heart, inspires your courage and helps you feel held through the difficult times. I reach deep for the recordings that make you feel like smiling through tears because someone gets you.

If you feel supported by my music and want to give something back, here are a few ways to do that.

  1. Share it with others. Help me get the word out.
  2. Are you good at giving reviews? Hit “reply” to this email and let’s talk.)
  3. You can make a one-time purchase on Bandcamp, and own the digital album and/or the CD, and stream it any time you like on the Bandcamp app. Pre-order now.
  4. You can subscribe to my Patreon for any length of time, starting at $7 per month and have access to everything I’ve been up to for the past 9 years. (Yes, that’s my entire back catalog as well as hundreds of posts and many songs-in-process that have yet to be released.) Join my Patreon here for as little as $7 per month.
  5. And there’s a third thing that directly could help make this particular release even more fun.  You can learn more in my next blog post.

With love,

Trina
